These past 6 months have gone by in the blink of an eye. Cassidy is absolutely the joy of our lives and life as we knew it before her seems long ago. She is now rolling over, eating rice cereal and developing her own personality. She is a very happy baby and her infectious laugh makes my heart melt!

Our Vacation to Cypress Hills

We started out July with a trip to Swift Current & Cypress Hills to visit our good friends Kevin & Jenn and their kids Brooke & Riley and to go camping with the Letkeman's in Cypress. And by camping...I mean staying at the Cypress Four Seasons Hotel and doing all the other outdoor things during the day! I'm a city gal...what can I say?! We had so much fun swimming, mini golfing, eating, walking and just spending time together.

Cassidy is 4 months old!

Cassidy is now 13lbs 8oz and almost 25" long! She is giggling and making lots of cooing noises. She just started pulling herself up to sitting and standing position when she holds onto our hands. She is so fun to hang out with!

Our Trip to Manitoba

We took Cassidy on her first plane ride to Winnipeg on the May long weekend to visit family in Morden, Winkler & Steinbach. She slept the entire flight on the way there and back home again. She even got her first set of wings from the air canada flight attendant. We had a fun but busy weekend filled with lots of visiting, laughing, eating and more eating. Cassidy finally got to meet her Great Grandma & Grandpa Friesen, Great Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Second Cousins.

Cassidy is 3 months old and growing up so quickly. She loves to kick her legs and suck on her little fists. She is starting to "talk" quite a bit now and loves to hear herself coo and giggle. She is such a happy baby and we just fall more in love with her everyday!

Cassidy tried on her first two piece bathing suit yesterday and I couldn't stop laughing because she looked so cute. The following 3 photos pretty much describe our next top model....she loved wearing the suit, showed off her stuff and than decided that she wasn't happy anymore!

Two Months Old!

Cassidy is 2 months old and I can hardly believe how much she has changed. She has started to recognize Jesse and I and smiles when we talk to her. Her attempt to giggle is so cute! She now weighs 11lbs 11oz and is 22 1/2" long. We are so in love!

Donovan & Traci, we are so excited for you as you depart for your European Adventure!(Also, quite jealous that we cannot come along :) But along with our excitement we are also very sad because we are going to miss you so much. 5 Weeks Old!

Cassidy is 5 weeks old today. She now weighs almost 10lbs and is learning to lift her head. All of these things happen so fast. Everyday she seems to be changing in looks and personality. I am absolutely loving being at home with her everyday. She is such a joy to be with.

Cassidy Naia Evans has arrived and we are so in love! Yes, it has taken me a while to post info about her but she's so cute that it's worth the wait. She was born February 15th, 2008 at 6:37am, weighing 7 lbs 10 1/2 oz and was 20 3/4" long. Jesse and I were absolutely amazed at the entire birth experience. I can honestly say that it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Cassidy captured our hearts the moment she was born and it has definately been a roller coaster ride for the past 2 weeks but we love having her as a part of our family.

The Waiting Game!

Well, it's exactly 2 days till our Valentines Day Due Date and so far, no Peanut! I think that this past week has almost felt longer than the entire 40 weeks of pregnancy! We are getting so excited to meet the newest member of our family. It still feels so surreal to think that one day it's just the two of us and the next day a whole new person will be involved in our everyday life.

Merry Christmas!

I can hardly believe that it's that time of year again, but I absolutely love it. Our house is decorated, the gifts are wrapped, the Christmas Baking is done & our Christmas letter has been sent out. I am loving being pregnant during this wonderful season of food! I vowed I would never think this way, but something has changed during pregnancy and snacks are my life!

We are heading to Moose Jaw for the weekend before Christmas to spend time with Jesse's family. His parents are travelling to Cuba on Christmas day this year so we will be celebrating on the 23rd of December. Than back to Saskatoon to have our own family Christmas at home and finally off to Hepburn for the rest of the week to celebrate with the Letkeman Family.

Autumn Update!

Well, the leaves are changing color and falling off the trees and I love the crisp feeling in the air. Life is busy with work, photography, friends & working hard to complete the renovations on our house. Jesse is coaching volleyball at Bethany College this fall and he is really enjoying it. I am 18 weeks pregnant and feeling great. As busy as things are, we have been trying to enjoy life and take it all in. It's so easy to get caught up in day to day life and forget to take time to enjoy the simple moments. Wishing you a joyous day!

Goodbye to our Friends

Last night was filled with mixed emmotions as we had one last party to say goodbye to our very dear friends Travis & Kecia Batting who are moving to Thunder Bay next week. We have had so much fun in the past couple years hanging out with you and the boys. Watching fireworks, LobsterFest, BBQ's, Parties and tons of fun. Thanks for being such wonderful friends. We will miss you all so much and can't wait to hang out soon. We wish you all the best as you start a new chapter in your life in Thunder Bay. Know that you will be missed dearly.

Well, as our little family will be growing from 2 people to 3 people in a matter of 5 1/2 months I realized that this is definately going to be an easier way to update our dear family & friends with what's new in our life.
